Fibre reinforced laminated plastic materials are a popular construction material in the equipment manufacturing. The reinforcement influences strongly the mechanical and electrical properties. For higher temperatures mica, silicate and cement fibres are used. We distinguish following types, based on the main properties:

- mechanical strength
- electrical resistance
