The exact composition of Rulon is not known but his chemical resistance is closed to pure PTFE.

They are 3 main grades of Rulon^®:

• LR type: standard maroon colour
• J type: specially developed for contact with aluminium (gold colour)
• 641: white colour for contact with foods (FDA compliant)
