Effective July 1, 2006, the RoHS directive (2002/95/EG) will ban the sale of all new electrical and electronic equipment that contains more than the designated maximum allowable levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and poly brominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants.

ERIKS is an independent distributor of engineering plastics and producer of machined parts out of these pre-molded stock shapes. To the best of our knowlegde these plastic materials do not contain any chemical of concern above the limits designated in this Directive. The certification of the total chemical content is the sole responsability of the manufacturer.

We can certify that ERIKS does not add any of the RoHS restricted materials during its cutting, shaping, forming, machining storage or handling of these plastics.
